Bishop's School, 2011 Spring Semester

The courses for the spring session of Bishop's School are:

Preaching - taught by Bishop Paul in the morning session

Various Ministries (stewardship/evangelism/congregational renewal/youth/finances/clergy wellness/administration) afternoon session taught by leaders of each areas

The dates are:
    January 15 & 29
    February 5 & 19
    March 5, 12 & 19
    Aril 9 & 16
    May 21
All classes are held at St. Peter's Church in Hazleton.

Because the focus of Bishop;s School is to prepare vocational deacons, the curriculum is designed to meet the canonical requirements for this ministry.  The classes rotate so that someone may enter at the beginning of any semester and continue through the three year program.

People in the ordination process may only miss one session and still receive credit for the course.

Although the focus is on preparation for ordination, anyone is welcome to register and attend all or any of the courses.  The fee is $75 for each class and is payable with registration.

Checks should be written to:  The Diocese of Bethlehem, marked for Bishop's School.
