November 12, Sunday, Choral Evensong at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem: Sung by the combined choirs of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem, and St. Stephen's Pro-Cathedral, Wilkes-Barre. Officiant: Canon Anne Kitch of Nativity. Preacher: the Rev. Daniel Gunn, rector of St. Stephen's. The choirs will be led and accompanied by Canon Russell Jackson and Mark Laubach.

November 14, Sudanese Crafts Show and Fund Raising at PA Council of Churches conference: Noon to 4:00, Harrisburg Hilton and Towers. More info. Program: Globalization: It's a Different World; Global Community and Our Local Churches.
November 18 Holiday Bazaar & Ham Supper at St. Gabriel's, Douglassville: Bazaar open 9:00 to 3:00 featuring crafts, baked goods, books, white elephant, silent auction and lunch. Family Style Ham Supper served 3:30 to 7:00 next door at the Villa at Morlatton. Ham Supper tickets will be available at the door, and take-out dinners will also be available.

November 18 Annual Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner at Church of the Good Shephed, Scranton: From 4 to 7 pm, in the newly refurbished parish hall at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Scranton. The menu includes pork, mashed potatoes/gravy, sauerkraut, pickled beets, green beans, rolls/butter, dessert, beverages, coffee, tea. Adults, $8.00; children 6-12, $4.00, children under 6 eat for free. Takeouts are available for adult meals only, beginning at 3:30. Good Shepherd Church is located in the beautiful historic Greenridge section of Scranton, at 1780 North Wasington Ave. For more info or to reserve your seat, please call the office at 570-347-1760.

December 6 (Wednesday) Festival Service of Lessons and Carols for Advent at St. Stephen's Pro-Cathedral, Wilkes-Barre: The Rev. Daniel Gunn, rector, will be the officiant. Minister of Music Mark Laubach will direct and accompany the choirs. A free-will offering will support the new St. Stephen's RSCM "Voice for Life" Chorister Program.

December 10 Presentation of new Sudanese crafts at Church of the Mediator, Allentown: After 8:00 and 10:15 services. More info.

January 7, Sunday, Boars Head Festival at Christ Church, Reading: For the first time, Reading area Episcopal churches will combine efforts and talent to present this Twelfth Night Celebration as a gift to the community and a witness of faith. Sunday afternoon at 4:00.

Every Tuesday Pray for Peace in Jim Thorpe: The Chapel in St. Mark's/St. John's Church, Jim Thorpe, will be open from Noon to 6:00 for people to pray for peace.
