Benjamin-Barshinger Concert

The Church of the Epiphany- Clarks Summit, will host Hermitage, a six-member group of Russian singers from St. Petersburg for two concerts October 28 (4 and 7 pm) at the Church. They are an 'a cappella' group, and will sing Orthodox liturgical music, chants and also Russian folks songs.

They are on tour in the USA and will be appearing in the region - including St. Albans's - DC.  They have dates available if anyone would like them to come.  Their website is :

This is part of our attempt to annually remember the life of Mary Benjamin, a generous and saintly benefactor of our parish.  This year we are changing the name of the concert to the Benjamin-Barshinger Concert to remember our late and much beloved organist Dr. Richard Barshinger, who died this last July.

Tickets are free, a free-will offering will be collected for the group.  The public is warmly invited!
